Loud Shirt Day
Children who are deaf CAN learn to listen and speak
On Loud Shirt Day everyone wore their loudest and brightest shirts to work and donated to help give deaf children a voice. Loud Shirt Day is the annual appeal of The Hearing House and the Southern Cochlear Implant Paediatric Programme, two charities who are dedicated to enabling deaf children with a cochlear implant to listen and speak like their hearing peers.
